I intend to build an extension to the hotel resort. I believe that it will take me a while however as I have been put in charge of the hotel I will have to see it through till the end.
I watch a piece of paper fall to the floor but it is difficult to make out what is written on it.

Exhausted on waking due to lack of sleep previous day. Remember dreaming and likely had longer or more REM periods of sleep than usual but no energy to write down any dreams.

I can see a large building which may be multi-storey flats. I get the impression that it is just one house with many floors. At the side of the house there are hundreds of bodies pilled up against the wall. It appears that there was a war. I had lunch with R in Cowdenbeath. After lunch I found it impossible to get back to work no matter how hard I tried. I firstly attempted to get the bus. Every time a bus pulled up at the bus stop a person behind me would convince me that the bus isn’t going my way. This became extremely frustrating and I eventually gave up. I left the bus stop and walked over to R. who was standing with two dogs. We decided to go back to our flat where I could phone a taxi. I am standing in a park which could also be a shopping centre. I turn around and now seem to be back in my flat. However, it looks different and it is more of an office than a home. I am joined by R. and an important manager. R. is telling the manager how good I am but he does not appear to be interested. We all become distracted by large moths which seem to have appeared in the room. I run around the room trying to swot them however there are too many. The lights dim and I wake up.

I am in a large theatre on stage. I seem to be part of a photography class or group. Each person in the class is sharing their work however we are all impressed by one girl in particular. She has just set up her equipment and set, photographed her subjects and printed the photographs in record time. I nudge the person next to me and say: these are the type of photographs I’ve always wanted to take. The man next to me says: no problem, I will show you. Within the dream I suddenly wake up and grab my notepad in order to transcribe the dream. However, I am told by a voice that it is now illegal to transcribe dreams and I am going to be arrested. I am assisting my father with his U-15’s football team. However, he does not seem to appreciate my help. He seems to think I haven’t been listening to him or getting the players to warm up properly. I am walking down Cowdenbeath High Street. I have just finished work. I notice my Aunt on the other side of the street. I watch as she shouts across the street at the top of her voice. I become embarrassed. She is asking my cousin for keys. (note: This is because my cousin is standing in the position where a key cutters shop is normally located). As my Aunt crosses the road I call her name. She turns around but she doesn’t recognise me at first. I start talking to her and it becomes clear to her who I am. However, she is acting very strange. I am watching two woman playing tennis. I seem to be on the court as they try and start up a rally. The woman over the other side of the net is quite aggressive. I walk off the court to gather some tennis balls but come back with an old football which I kick in the air and the tennis court is gone and I am now involved in a 7 aside football match. The quality of the players is quite poor and the game is very slow.

I am standing waiting on the pavement with my mother and grandmother. My father is due to pick us up any minute. My phone rings and I answer it. It is my father, he tells me that something strange has happened to his van. The van is now a car and his left ear is connected to an aerial on the roof. As he is on the phone I hear a young child in the background. The child offers to climb onto the roof of the van (or car) and remove the aerial for him. This seems strange to me as my father is an aerial engineer. I receive another call on my phone. This time it is my sister. She tells me that she has just had a text from her father and he is coming to pick us up. I tell her I already know. Continue >>
I witness a man skateboarding or walking backwards on the other side of the road. I keep walking and now I can see someone in front of me in the distance wearing a green jacket. It appears to be a woman. She has her back to me and she is motionless. I am not sure if she is waiting on me. As I look around everyone seems to have their back turned to me. I find myself in a shop which may be a chemist. I am trying to find a soap condensing contraption. An old woman approaches me and offers me help. I pick up a towel / shower head invention from the cash desk. It is wrapped in plastic. I hold it in my hand for a short while but decide against buying it.
I now find myself in the street walking toward some stairs. A man is walking toward me. He is handing out comics or magazines. I recognise him so I think about asking him for his autograph. However, I let him pass without acknowledging him.

Banal Dream / Difficult to remember much detail.
I have broken into a building or shop. The purpose of which is to try and replace an item in the shop’s window display. However, I realise that I am also there to steal a mannequin. The awkwardness of the dream takes over and I find it difficult to gain access. I manage to place a CD upright in the window from the outside. I think to myself that this act does not seem possible to me however I am soon distracted by the noise of others in the shop. I notice three other people are also trying to place items in the window display of the shop. After a brief discussion we all decide to join forces in an attempt to break the glass. This proves extremely difficult. We take a break and watch Rangers play Celtic on a large TV outside a pub. In the distance I can see a sign for Tbilisi and assume I must now be in Georgia. I find myself amongst mass panic and hysteria. There is an outbreak of some sort. People are being placed in quarantine. I am being ushered toward a security guard who examines my skin.
