I am at work. The office looks identical to how it would in real life. Everyone seems to be finishing for the day. I walk into the toilet to urinate but notice the light is off. I switch the light on. Someone must be in the cubicle as the door is closed. I switch off the light and walk out. I tell someone that there seems to be a person in the toilet cubicle and then leave the office.

I am walking in a pedestrian area of Edinburgh in my dressing gown. I stop and speak to a woman who asks if I am getting a taxi. I tell her I am just going to walk. I continue. I am in bed. I pull back the duvet and start to shower in bed. I notice there is a naked blonde girl at the bottom of the bed. She seems to be a lot younger than me. I become self conscious as I realise I am naked. I speak to the girl about my age. It appears she thought I was only 26 but was surprised to learn that I was in fact 34. I am staying at our second home and realise that it is not our main home and I should go back. I am with R and we seem to have been away for a while and forgotten that we have another house. I park the car outside the house and open the door. I walk into the living room and there are around 50 people sitting on the floor. The people seem to have been using my house as a squat or hostel. I am lying in bed outside the public swimming pool. A friend is lying in the bed next to me although I do not recognise him. He asks me if I will be going swimming at 8.30am as he has been invited by a girl. I look up and tell him that I am too tired.
A little later I walk into a shop and M is there. I am confused as I know that he is in France. I ask him why he isn’t in France. He looks at me and tells me that he was only there for two days and now he is back. I walk outside and I can see a man in the distance having an argument with a woman. I recognise the man as someone who I used to work with.

How to Interpret Dreams: Expectation Fulfilment Theory
I have been recording my dreams in a journal for a number of years now. The main reason in doing so has always been for ideas and inspiration for my photography, however recently this has changed. I have never really felt the need to find out the actual meaning of my dreams and every time I attempted to interpret one I would never get very far (especially if I took the Freudian approach). For a time I also believed all dreams to be meaningless or at least random flashes of memory or thought all jumbled together. At least with this belief it meant that I did not have to make any effort to ever interpret them. However, after reading the book ‘Dreaming Reality’ by Joe Griffin and Ivan Tyrrell things started to make sense. Continue >>

I appear to be in my own house in Stockbridge although the inside of the house has changed. It is dark outside. I look out the living room window and I can see a group of people in the street kicking and smashing cars as they walk.
