My girlfriend had the following dream:
I have just had a baby and I am ill and very weak. I looked down and I could see the baby wrapped up in a blanket. I looked in the blanket and the baby appears to be a barbie doll. The doll was covered in garish make up. I started to cry as I wanted it to look like a Cindy doll.
I am now sitting on a crowded train opposite a man. The man tells me I should be in hospital but Kevin insists I am fine. I cannot stop crying therefore Kevin takes the doll away from me. I watch as he cuts off its head. Kevin tells me he has to cut of its head to allow the bones to come through and then it can turn into a real baby.

Sounds like your girlfriend is worried about you. Since she dreamed that you are ill after having a baby, perhaps she is worried that you have been working too hard on a new project that you have taken on.
